Viktoria-Luise-Platz, Berlin

18 April 2011

In the course of our wanderings today we found ourselves at this lovely small park called Viktoria-Luise-Platz.  It is in the center of a residential neighborhood, so there isn't really a lot to do there, but it's a nice place for a walk or a picnic.  The children were getting water from the fountain in their little buckets to carry over to the sandbox, so cute!

In the surrounding neighborhood, I took these photos as well. A really cool old building that was covered in vines begged to be photographed, I would love to see it when the leaves have all come out.

It also had an Easter Tree in the front garden.  I love this tradition!
People really paint graffiti art on EVERYTHING in Berlin... even a dumpster.  This one is decorated with flowers and bees.
Some beautiful spring blossoms on a sunny day.
