Tiergarten and Großer Stern, Berlin

The Tiergarten is a very large park in central Berlin, reminiscent of San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.  At one end of it is the Brandenburger Tor, and the other end is the Großer Stern, a large roundabout intersection with five points and hence called "great star".

On many of the surfaces nearby you can find scars from WW2 bullets - there is one just to the left of my hand in this photo.
